IMG_3867IMG_38791.  Bryggen – a series of commercial buildings on the east side of Vagen Harbor.  Some of these buildings date from 1702.

IMG_396818.  Bergen Cathedral.  est. 1181.  In 1248, 1270, 1463, 1623, 1640 fires destroyed the church.  The current church (Cathedral) was built after the 1640 fire but before the 1665 Battle of Vagen when either a Dutch or British cannonball shot from the harbor became embedded in the tower wall to the left of the Gothic stained glass window above the entry.
